Football, baseball and live sport: check before match day

Prepare your device, commentary language and match details before watching live sport. Use this checklist to ask about the exact event and test your setup.

01

Start with the exact fixture

A search for live football or baseball does not identify a particular broadcast. Send the competition, teams, match date and your viewing country. League names are useful reference points, but a mention in this guide does not mean that Gorillas IPTV carries every match.

  • Specify the competition and both teams.
  • Ask which current channel or viewing option, if any, matches your request.

02

Football: language, timing and coverage

For football, check the kick-off time, local time zone and preferred commentary. A Premier League or another league enquiry should name the fixture. Confirm availability for that particular event rather than assuming a whole season is included.

  • Clarify whether you want live coverage, highlights or a replay.
  • Recheck late schedule changes with the competition or broadcaster.

03

Baseball: account for the viewing date

Baseball enquiries should identify the teams and the game, especially when a series includes several fixtures. An MLB game scheduled in one time zone can fall on the following calendar day for a European viewer. Ask about the exact broadcast and replay availability separately.

  • Include the date and time zone shown on your schedule.
  • Confirm whether the feed has your preferred commentary language.

04

Other sports need the same checks

Basketball, tennis, motorsport and rugby each have their own event formats. Identify the tournament, session or round you want. A final, qualifying session and practice session may use different coverage. Current availability needs to be confirmed for your country.

  • Give the sport and event stage.
  • Check live viewing and catch-up separately.

05

Test on your match-day setup

Use the free 24-hour service trial on the television, phone, tablet or computer you intend to watch with. Test the actual player and connection. Watch motion, sound synchronisation and stability; a working sample does not guarantee the same experience at every busy period.

  • Keep other household network use in mind.
  • Confirm allowed simultaneous screens before watching on several devices.

06

Send a useful support request

If playback is interrupted, record the event or channel, time, device, player version and error message. Change one connection or setting at a time when comparing results. The team can then check your setup and the particular viewing request with you.

  • Mention whether other content plays normally.
  • Contact support before making a subscription choice.
